Easy Knit Diagonal Garter Stitch Scarf 🧶🧣

Level up your Garter Stitch with this fun and easy diagonal knit scarf. This project is perfect for the adventurous beginner wanting to step away from the very basic first projects often suggested.

This scarf looks fantastic worked in variegated yarn, or in blocks of colour, but even in one shade, the diagonal stripes add an extra pop of interest that you wouldn't normally get when working straight rows of garter stitch.

I used 2 Skeins of Red Heart Stripes in Retro Stripe on 5mm needles, but the beauty of this project is it works for any weight of yarn - you just increase until its wide enough - no row or stitch counting needed!! Perfect for that mindless evening knitting when you want to relax.
